Attention should be paid to the deformation of crane wire rope
The crane has a very important part, that is, the wire rope, which determines the load-bearing weight of the crane. Sometimes the wire rope will be deformed. In order to reduce the occurrence of this kind of situation, we must first know the reason for the deformation of the wire rope of the bridge crane.
1, trauma
During the operation of the Taian metallurgical bridge crane manufacturer, abnormal contact between the wire rope and other equipment is likely to cause trauma. The more obvious trauma is that the steel wire rope slides in the pulley and jumps out of the baffle on the drum. As a result, the steel wire rope of tens of meters or even hundreds of meters is often scrapped due to partial crushing.
The key to preventing wire rope trauma is to improve the bridge crane equipment. The pulley should be equipped with a reliable anti-skid groove retaining ring, and the gap between the retaining ring and the outer ring of the pulley should not be greater than 1/5 of the diameter of the wire rope. The steel wire rope on the reel should not be loosened too much to prevent the rope loop from jumping out of the baffle and crushing when it is tightly wound.
2, crush
The wire rope is easily crushed after being rolled up on the drum. When the steel wire rope is tangled up on the drum, it will roll each other, and it will make a "creaking creaking" sound during operation. The wire rope damage caused by crushing will quickly show signs of broken wires and flattening in the local area.
The preventive measure is to choose the deflection angle between the pulley and the drum according to the design specifications. If necessary, a rope arranging device or a rope pressing device can be installed in the hoisting mechanism to prevent the wire rope of the bridge crane from being rolled up.
