Precautions for beam cranes
Beam crane is a kind of crane, which is composed of bridge frame and lifting trolley. The bridge frame moves longitudinally along the ground track and horizontally along the bridge frame. There are three working mechanisms: lifting, bridge walking, and trolley walking. Driven by manpower or electricity. It is mostly used to move goods in the factory or workshop. It is used for lifting goods in factories, warehouses, stock yards and other places. It is prohibited to use in flammable, explosive and corrosive medium environments.
The beam crane is a kind of crane, which has the characteristics of hoisting machinery and is a kind of machinery that performs cyclic and intermittent movement. A working cycle includes: the retrieval device lifts the item from the retrieval location, then moves horizontally to the designated place to drop the item, and then performs a reverse movement to return the retrieval device to its original position for the next cycle.
Precautions for beam cranes
Operators must abide by the "ten no hanging" principle under any circumstances to prevent accidents that violate regulations. Before lifting, make sure that no one is crossing or standing in the moving area. Take the correct posture to hook, pay attention to check whether the hook is safe and secure, and lift the hook after leaving a proper safe distance.
The lifting speed and height should be appropriate, and the movement should be slow and steady. When hoisting operations, the driver must cooperate with the ground commander, try to keep the lifting, walking speed and stop consistent, and only one person can command on the spot, and two people cannot cross and command at the same time. Sufficient lighting should be provided for hoisting operations at night. When hoisting, the hoisting must be carried out according to the specified load, and overload operation is strictly prohibited. It is strictly forbidden to stand, pass and work under the suspended heavy objects. In the case of dangerous situations such as wire rope breakage or falling of hanging objects or failures during the lifting process, the machine should be shut down in time for handling, and the lifting operation shall not be continued until the cause is found out and the failure is eliminated. Maintenance and repairs are not allowed when in working condition. If there is an abnormal noise during use, follow the procedure of stopping first, checking later, and driving after troubleshooting.
