What kind of wire rope is used for 1 ton winch?
Generally, the electric hoist must be equipped with a steel wire rope to lift. The thickness of the steel wire rope matched with the winch of each tonnage is different, so we will explain it.
Different steel wire ropes are used in different occasions, and offshore steel wire ropes are preferred in sea water; for lifting machinery used in atmospheric environments, manganese-based phosphate-coated steel wire ropes are preferred; in heavy corrosive environments, hot-dip galvanized and phosphated double-coated steel wire ropes are preferred.
1. Phosphating coated steel wire rope. The steel wire is treated with manganese or zinc-manganese phosphating. The wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the steel wire surface are greatly improved. The service life of the steel wire rope is also greatly improved, and the unit use cost is also greatly improved. Lower, better quality stability;
2. Galvanized steel wire rope, generally the hot-dip galvanized zinc layer is thick, and the electro-galvanized zinc layer is thin;
3. Stainless steel wire rope, mainly 304 or 316 stainless steel, are the ropes the same? The anti-corrosion effect is very good but the price is expensive;
4. Plastic-coated steel wire rope, based on carbon steel wire rope, the outer layer is coated with polyethylene, polypropylene or nylon;
5. Cable wire rope;
6. Wire rope for mooring in marine engineering.
