Several measures to prevent kinking of steel wire rope

The following measures can be taken to prevent the kinking of the wire rope:

1) Use non-rotating steel wire ropes on important lifting equipment.

2) A rotor (also called an anti-rotation device) is installed at the free end of the wire rope.

3) Strengthen the sense of responsibility of the operators, stop the operation immediately after discovering the signs of kinking, and release the restoration.
