How does the electric hoist prevent the wire rope from being entangled
Winding accidents often occur when electric hoists are in use. Especially when the wire rope is stuck in the gap between the drum and the lifting motor, the only way to deal with it is to remove the motor and take out the wire rope. It is time-consuming and laborious, and it also delays normal production. Sometimes in order to maintain production, the steel wire rope is cut off by gas welding, leaving the broken steel wire rope very easy to wear the drum and motor casing, causing greater equipment accidents.
Aiming at the above problem, after analysis and research, a simple method is adopted to effectively solve this problem. A retaining ring is welded on the inner side of the flange, so as to prevent the wire rope from getting stuck in the appeal part due to various reasons, without affecting the assembly of the drum and the motor and the performance of the electric hoist. We have made improvements to some electric hoists. After more than a year of use, we have completely eliminated the problem of wire rope jamming. Even if the rope disorder occurs in the production process, it can only be handled between the shell of the electric hoist and the drum. It can be handled in a short time by simple methods such as traction and increased load. It not only maintains the service life of the equipment, but also does not affect the normal production.
