Precautions for no-load test of gantry crane
Gantry crane is a kind of lifting equipment with high technical content and complicated operation. Usually, after the gantry crane equipment is idle or installed, no-load test is required before it is put into use, mainly to check whether the quality of the equipment meets the safety requirements.
During the no-load test of the gantry crane, the following points should be paid attention to:
1. Pay attention to whether the current, voltage, etc. meet the requirements.
2. Test whether the limiter is in good condition and whether the phase-misalignment protection function is good.
3. Test whether the assembly quality of the rope device is good. When the wire rope is in a tight state, start the hoisting mechanism of the gantry crane to make the hook lower. After turning the drum twice, the wire rope should be able to be discharged from the rope guide mouth smoothly.
4. Check the axial movement of the conical motor shaft, and use visual inspection to judge the axial movement during operation to determine whether the movement is within the allowable range. If it does not meet the clearance, it should be adjusted in time.
The no-load test of the gantry crane is to check whether each operating mechanism is normal and whether there is any abnormal sound. After confirming that it is normal, the heavy-load test is carried out, and then it can be officially put into use after being accepted by the quality inspection department.
