What should I do if the crane enters water?
The water intake of high-altitude operating vehicles will easily adversely affect the performance of the lifting platform, affecting the normal operation and work of the hydraulic system, especially the fixed lifting platform installed outdoors. For this common problem, we will analyze what solutions are available.
1. When water enters the fixed lifting platform, the motor burns out. At this time, the power switch should be turned off immediately and the water in the pit should be cleaned up.
2. Try to make the elevator as high as possible in the front and low in the back so that the water can be discharged out of the exhaust pipe to avoid damage to the converter and muffler.
3. Check the oil quality of each system of the elevator, and replace it in time if the oil is found to be foamed or turbid.
4. After the inspection, pay attention to use a compressed air machine to dry all the electrical connections in the head compartment to avoid excessive water accumulation in the electrical connections and cause corrosion.
5. If water has entered the motor of the elevator, the motor should be removed and disassembled so that the water can evaporate quickly.
6. The lubricating oil is easily deteriorated during the wading process, especially in the steering, transmission and other systems, the chassis should be disassembled and inspected.
