128th Canton Fair Online Expo 2020-Yuantai Crane Machinery

As known that COVID-19 breakout happened unexpectedly since January 2020 and has become a global epidemic. The COVID-19 was keeping affecting people’s daily lives and the development of the global economy in2020.

As an important barometer of China's foreign trade,China import and Export Fair, or Canton Fair, oldest and largest trade fair, was moved online due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Despite going virtual, the event drew about 30,000 enterprises from home and abroad.

Being one of most famous crane&hoist designer from crane city in China, Yuantai Crane machinery also had a digital booth at the 128th China import and Export Fair, that kicked off on October 15. With 8 years exporting experience, Yuantai Crane has never been absent from this exhibition and enjoyed a good reputation among customers in Canton fair. 

At the previous exhibitions, Yuantai Crane communicated with customers by face to face. Now, due to epidemic, the only way of international trade is no-touch, which means less exposure to pathogens and lower risk of infection. One week before the start of the exhibition, Yuantai’s sales representatives informed potential customers of the live broadcast time and booth through various channels. Since it was the first attempt, all salesman and engineers conducted video exercises.

Through adequate preparation in the early stage,the live broadcast brought many new customers by allowing global customers who can not personally attend the event to know more about Yuantai and Yuantai Crane.

From 15th, October to 24th, October, during the 10-day online live broadcast of the Canton Fair, more than 10,000 people watched the live broadcast, 200 people left contact messages, 100 accurate customers were locked, 20 orders were completed, and the total order amount reached 110,000 US dollars.
